Long term weight loss - more than 5 years

I am in the researching stage. I am looking at long term weight loss -- keeping it off more than 5 years. I would hate to go through all of this and then gain it back. How do the people who had surgery more than 5 years ago keep it off? Does your appetite return? Do you have cravings like you had before the surgery? Can I hear from the ones who had surgery more than 5 years ago? Thanks. Susan P.

Susan, you may want to inquire from the WLS grads forum for some of your questions if someone on this board doesn't respond Denise

Agree to above post and wanted to add to remember that surgery is only a TOOL, you must do your part and use it correctly. Weight can be re-gained at ANYTIME after surgery.
