OT: Anyone care to adopt me?

Morning, folks. I'm a regular on the Main and Men's boards, and used to post on VA, but I've let that one slide for a while. My wife and I have found a house in Camden County, and we're trying to get the financing arranged to make it ours. My question: is there anyone in the general area of Elizabeth City that would be willing to adopt us for a bit leading up to and a little bit after our move south of the border? Mostly, you'd answer stoooopid questions like: Where is the closest Wal-Mart or Lowe's? Where's the nearest motor vehicle bureau? etc. You'll get the benefits of a pair postops as new friends, and an invite to our new house shindig. Any takers?
