HI! Haven't been on for a while, so have missed your updates! OMG! You are doing JUST AWESOME! Your starting weight and you goal weight are pretty much exactly like me! Soooooooo nice to hear that you have been so successful! I am so happy for you!

I am still waiting for my date....been about a year wait right now...got tired of NOT trying to lose weight so started seeing the Dietitian in November, I feel allot better just trying then doing nothing and waiting.....Not that I am losing allot, but I am at least back to the weight I was then I was referred. I also worry, I will lose TOO MUCH and not be able to get the surgery! LOL! Can you imagine??!! LOL!

Anyways, I wait.....please keep the updates coming.....you are very inspirational!!!!! Thank you for inspiring me with your updates!

It will be a year for me, this month or next, since I was referred. I got so tired of waiting and had gained 35 - 40 lbs just waiting, so I contacted Catherine McCain and have been seeing her since November. I wanted to at least get back to where I was when I was referred. Thankfully, I am back where I started now. I am anxiously waiting to hear from Dr. Boisvert's office.....just want to get his over with....Maybe we will be together! Good luck on your progress!

My sister was one of her first sleeve patients last year and I can tell you she's LOVELY. I was with my sister in the hospital and for post op visits and she's sweet, very kind, warm. You'll love her, she's a great addition to the team and especially for this specialty field of medicine.

There was someone in my education session who had had the VSG and was having the second surgery but I never seen / talked to her again but I know it's certainly done. Keep us posted, it's all informative.

Referral sent April 2004 / First Consult-Moncton June 2012 / Surgery - February 2013

My surgery at the George Dumont Hospital.  It will be three months from my all day session to surgery.

Where is your surgery? How long after your all day session to surgery date was it?

Hi, I am three years out and have been talking to Dr B about a second surgery. Has anyone else on here been referred to the new surgeon on his team and or is anyone already planning to have a DS vs the VSG?

Unbelievable the progress you have made! I look forward to a normal BMI as well.   I start my 2 week liquid diet on Thursday.  16 sleeps to surgery day!
