The waiting game

I called Dr Beausolie's office today, she told me that he will only be doing two VSG surgeries in October, he usually does two a week but had to take two weeks off in Oct and the surgeries he had scheduled for Oct 4th were also canceled so now I continue to hurry up and wait. She told me last month that  there are only 8 people left ahead of me so I was hoping to be getting my surgery in early November now it might be late Nov or early Dec. I'm tired of waiting but oh well, I've been overweight all my life what's two more months.

When was your first consult and info session

 

My first appointment with him was in March 2013

hi...I have my first consult with him Nov 6 I am praying things move along well after that but something tells me it may not lol

They mentioned that he doesn't do much in December too. I am hoping to get my in January but maybe it will be longer. Jndrake when did you do your all day session? Mine was in August.

How many were at your session? Maybe my time frame in my mind is still on track. We had five at my session, but they all had co-morbities and I don't. One guy was only waiting six months to get his first appt. I figure his dr must have made his referral more urgent, I don't know.

I think there were 6 at my info session.

How after a consult do you have to wait for an info session?

My consult with Dr B was in March and my all day info session was in May then I signed off on my surgery in July

and now I think I will have surgery in late Nov or early Dec
