Hi Betty , still in good spirits I see...I am so happy that you are finding it "Not too bad" , it gives me some positive outlook on it . I too am worried about my insulin , I can't imagine why they didn't tell you what to do about it. I am going to ask them for sure.
I GOT A CALL FROM THE OR on Thursday.....she wanted a list of all meds that I take ,, so I gave them to her. I was waiting for her to give me a date for surgery. She said "that's all I wanted ". They will be calling you with a date & lots of information. So , they are thinking of me !!!
Keep up the good work ...YOU CAN DO IT !!!

For the 2 weeks of Boost pre surgury, Is all Boost Diabetic or if you are not a diabetic is there a regular boost?

Hi & yes there is just a REGULAR boost. Are you having surgery ? If you are where are you having it ?

I have a consult to see Dr Savoie but have not heard anything yet, I am waiting for lap band. My Dr. only sent it in end of May so looks like I anm in for quite a wait. Have you had surgury?

Hi , no I havn't had surgery yet. I am having the lapband . My first consult was Oct 2008. Then I had a 2nd one in June 2009 ,my blood sugars were too high . So he put me off until I got them down , the 3rd consult was in August . Now I am waiting for the call for the surgery. So if I were you , unless he gets really quick at doing the surgeries , would be looking at a year for it . Believe me the time went rather fast , being on the forum helps a lot. Good luck . I am thinking you may have your surgery by next summer just in time to reveal a bathing beauty ...
