Hi,

The best thing to do is join their email list and you can talk to many folks who have had this surgery.  Also he posts video testimonies of folks who have had it on the website http://clos.net.  As for me, I would do it a zillion more times.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It is an extremely powerful surgery.  As you know, all surgeries have risks.  As far as having had other surgeries, I haven't heard that this was an issue.  However, since I am not a doctor, you will have to talk to him about your situation.  Hope this helps.

Topic: info about MGB?
Hey everyone...I haunted this site about four and a half years ago when my husband had a VSG. I felt then like I knew most everything there was to know about VSG and RNY. I was planning to have the same surgery, but our finances took a dive and that didn't happen. Now, I've head about the Mini Gastric Bypass, and would like to know what everyone who's had one thinks about it, good and bad. I read that if you've had previous abdominal surgeries that it can't be done. I've had two c-sections, gallbladder removal, and a hysterectomy. I'm 5'9", 285 and am mostly healthy, no major co-morbidities.
Names of surgeons, and approximate costs would be helpful, too....thanks to everyone who can help! I did check for a faq page for this specific surgery type, but wasn't successful.
Thank you everybody!

Hi,

I would suggest you concentrate on eating healthy.  Find a good nutritionist to help you set up a healthy food plan and follow that.

Personally I would say 600-800, with most of your calories from protein and still very limited carbs. :-)

I am 6 months post gastric bypass and was just wondering how many calories I am allowed to consume per day?
