“You're having dinner with friends who cook delicious, yet calorie heavy, meals. Here's how to eat guiltless gourmet.”
Just because you're watching what you eat doesn't mean the rest of the world (or even your family) is in sync. When you have to eat at a friend or family member's home, we all know it's not always easy to just say no at the risk of hurt feelings or, at the very least, being the center of attention. If you're served a plate of food where you don't choose what's on it, size it up before you start eating. What would be the best choices that keep you on target? How much food is really there? You may decide to only have one bite of the mac n' cheese and just half of the potato salad. Whatever you plan, eat slowly. Talk between bites. Put your folk down. Make your meal last as long as everyone else's. This way, you won't feel the need for seconds, and if you have food left when everyone else is done, people will be less likely to even notice.
Hi Diana,
I have a lot of questions. Since 2000, have you changed your eating and exercise habits or are you still following healthy eating and exercise practices? Have you been going to support groups, getting nutritional guidance and counseling? All these things play an important role in success. Do you have a healthy relationship with food or are you falling into old habits that were present before surgery?
Take a good look at these things and if the answers are no, then that is probably where you need to focus. Be honest with yourself and start building your support systems and see if you can get back on track. If you are doing everything right, then your surgery might be faulty. Yes, doctors sometimes make mistakes too. Get an endoscopy and see how things are going inside.
Keep in touch.

“You were doing so well, but then? Here's how to deal with now.”
You had a weekend with the girls and totally blew your diet. Now you're feeling like a failure and wonder why you should even try again. Get over it! We all blow it sometimes. Say, -Wow, that was a good time- and move on. Life isn't all diets and exercise. If you are -being good- the majority of the time and moving toward your health and fitness goals, a little bump in the road isn't going to stop that.
“You want to eat right but you just get so hungry. Here's how to feed the need.”
Dieting shouldn't mean you are starving yourself. Eating well means that you are fueling your body regularly with good foods. You need to watch portions but if you are truly hungry then it's time to eat. Just make sure you're grabbing a healthy snack. Waiting too long to eat can result in overeating, so plan healthy snacks ahead of time so when hunger strikes, you are ready.

Thanks :) you spelled well Poznań :) It's a very nice place. If you will be in Poland I'm strongly advicing to visit Cracow (Kraków) as well.
Hi there,
I filled out your survey. I hope you do well in your thesis. My ancestors are from Poland so I feel a connection. They are from a city called, Paznan (spelling?). I'm not sure a spelled that right. Anyway, I hope to be able to visit someday. If you want, you can read my website. It's a little outdated. I can't find anyone to help me update my website. http://shoutjoy.com
