Hi,
Have you considered the gastric sleeve? That's what I ended up having and it went great. It was perfomed by Dr. Ponce de Leon and Dr. Verboonen. Recovery is rather quick (about 2 days in the hospital) and you can expect to pay a little over $7,000.

I had my MGB surgery done in Tijuana, Mexico with Dr. Ponce de Leon and Dr. Verboonen for a fraction of what I would have paid inthe US. I paid $8,000 and they also offer financing through different institutions. Great doctors, caring staff, nice facilities...Good luck! Paty

We will be having our first support group meetings on March 10 at 5:30pm and March 14 at 10am in the Charles Cole Hospital conference room. These two meetings will be identical. Thanks for the info. Ihave been researching the MGB for over a year and havd attended three seminars (went with friends wwho are considerg WLS )
I am unfortunately going alone but I know many others have and done well. I am trying to get all my supplements beforehand as well as stock the frig with things I can drink/eat so I don't have to go out shopping. Thanks again.
