Hi,
Wow, you been through it huh? Have you tried Unjury protein? Very yummy. Of course, it is all in personal preference. You never know.

Topic: XPost Poor service from a suppliment site
I am hooked on Whey Gourmet's Artic Cappuccino Frappe.
So when the site I normally order was sold out, I went hunting.
I found MySupplimentStore.com
They had a reasonable price so I placed an order. Yea, that was the 11th. On the 16th I realized that I hadn't received a shipping confirmation. So I looked it up and noticed I had given them the wrong email address for me. I contacted the company and let them know my correct address.
That's when they told me that they were out of one of the flavors I had ordered and told me it wouldn't be in stock for 7-10 days and THEN it would ship. They said they could make a substitution. I wrote back and told them that I couldn't wait that long because I have a medical need for it and told them to substitute another flavor. They wrote back and said it would be midweek this week when I got it.
So I didn't get it. I emailed yesterday and asked about it. They actually wrote me back and said "Good news" UPS says your order will be there on Tuesday!!!!!!!
Tuesday?????!!!!!!! In what world is it ok to choose UPS ground 2-3 day shipping and it take over 17 days to get an order????
So I wrote them back and let them know it's not ok and they've lost a customer and that I would be letting others know NOT to order from them as well.
Feel free to order from these people if it doesn't matter if or when you get your product.

I hope you are feeling better soon. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing where you had the MGB done and who your surgeon was???
Thanks

Topic: RE: Mini Gastric Bypass on Coumadin
Surgeons can switch you to something safer, such as lovenox shots for a time period before and after surgery, instead of coumadin. I was on coumadin for a DVT, and actually needed some minor heart surgery and that is what they did. Typically, a surgeon will not do any type of surgery with a patient on coumadin, I often had to stop it for 10 days before simple things like and endoscope, etc. where there was an increased risk of bleeding. Of course, every situation is different so be sure to speak with all docs involved, ie. surgeon and the doc prescribing the coumadin. Best wishes.

Topic: RE: Your reason for MGB instead of VSG????
Hi!
There are several surgeries to choose from. The information here at this site is very helpful.
I had an RNY 14 years ago. If I knew then what I know now- I would not have had that one done.
It was the surgery to have and although many people have had great long term success, I did not. And it's not just the fact that I eventually gained weight back, it's the fact that I have so many other physical problems from the initial surgery. I have done more indepth research this time and after speaking to my Dr and his assistant, I think I am making the right choice this time around (VSG)
Most important think you can do is be educated and have a good Dr who can listen to you and know which surgery will work for you long term.

Maybe, you don't say what kind of bypass she has had. I suggest you contact Dr. Rutledge and his staff at http://clos.net and see what they suggest.

I have a friend that had gastric bypass. She would like a revision. Is MGB an option for her? I am helping her research her options...

Topic: RE: Anyone been to Dr Hargroder in Missouri?
I though Dr. Hargroder was not performing the MGB anymore? Or is it that his relationship with Dr. Rutledge and CLOS ended, but that he does perform the MGB?
