Hello, yes I have, my friend told me about it since she is an athlete . Wow they are really good  compared to many other brands I've tried  and like you've mentioned it has 30g of protein   :)

Has anyone tried the Premier Protein shakes that are aavailable from Costco and Sam's Club? Each shake yields 30g of high protein and only 3g of carbs, it's also very low in sugar-1g. WOW. The shakes come in two yummy flavors, chocolate and vanilla.

During this upcoming holiday season, I am looking forward to maintaining my weight which in turn allows me to maintain my health, quality of life and yes, even the smile I see reflected when I recognize that the petite woman looking back in the mirror is actually me! To do this, I've decided that I plan to enjoy some of the special foods that the holidays bring, but that I'll be sure to

*  load with protein first

*  modify a few of my favorites so that I can enjoy them even more... I thought I'd have to give up some of my favorites, but have found some wonderful ways to enjoy them as much or more now than I did before... and without the guilt or excess 'baggage they used to bring.

*  freeze some of the delectable leftovers in portions that support my long term goals of maintaining my weight so that I don't keep going back to the fridge for 'a little morsel' now and then

These are the things I have done for the past couple of years for the holidays and other special occasions and it has allowed to have my proverbial cake, or in my world, pumpkin pie and still be happy with myself when it's all said and done.

No matter where you are in your journey, pre-op, post-op or maintenance, it's important to have some goals in mind and strategies in place to help you achieve those goals. As the holiday season approaches and so many of the festivities are surrounded by food, I though that this might be a good time to identify a few goals and some of the strategies we plan to employ to ensure success. I think that what works for one may or may not work for another, but I'm hoping that we'll be able to share and leverage some of each others ideas. With this in mind, please share some of your goals and your Strategies for Success.

Hello all,

I don't think thid board would have it.  I am not familiar with a Fremont department.  Try calling Information or Google the name and city.  I Google just about everything I want to know.

I am 26, 5'8'' and 218...Its not looking too good for me getting MGB covered- but then again I dont have your insurance...

It depends on who you want to go to for surgery. I know if you go to Dr. Rutledge he will give you a letter to send to your insurnce company, then you can send it to them and wait for the responce.  He is ALL OVER youtube...he seems like a huge marketing guy...but really he just belives in what he created...so more power to him.

Are you able to do self pay at all?  If you can I can give you a few really good options. I know Dr Rutledge can to it for 9500, if you have never had any other surgeries. Hes really great, and state of the art all the way. His website is www.clos.net  He has an office in Vegas and one somewhere in Flordia. His office staff is really nice and anytime you call them they pick up...Ive reached them at home and at the grocery store haha.. I dont work for them, but am looking into getting my surgery done there and have talked to a million happy customers.

If you have any questions definitly call them...their # is on their website.

Good luck on everything ;-)

Hello all ... I have misplaced the tele# (for the recorded message line) to report my weight, exercise, etc. for the Fremont, CA bariatric dept.  I know this seems silly in this day and age of "can find anything" ... but all I seem to be able to find is the department tele# ... thank you !

Yup, I still have to do the packet and all that good stuff!
I got everything approved for the bank loan, and submitted the pre-lim
application last night, with confirmation they received it.
So I guess from my understanding is if they approve that
application, then I go ahead and start my packet?
Is that right?
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO nervous and SOOOOOOOOOOO excited
and SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO scared!
Any advice or words of wisdom is highly appreciated!
I applied with Dr R in Vegas. Eeeeeekkkkkk.
Thanks for reading,

Michelle from Canaduh.

Hi,

Happy day!  I think a week is average.  Although it depends on the job and you.  I know some folks, back when I had it, went back to work within a few days.  Probably was not a good idea on their part.  Just follow what is suggested and how you feel.

I am not sure, but I think you still have to do the packet.  Call and confirm.  Good luck!
