Im getting ready to hit the sac and get up at 3am to drive to Belgium, from the Netherlands. Its about 2 hours from my house, but I want to make sure we get there in time :-) Time difference is 6-9 hours alter here....so dont think Im going to bed in the middle of the afternoon haha.   i packed comfy clothes, bottled water, instant broth stuff, shampoo, face soap and all that good stuff. Home Im not forgetting anything. Hubby and doggy are coming with me. My pup  gets to relax at the hotel while im in surgery.  Hes loves going on trips :-)
I really picked an amazing surgeon and I know he'll do a great job.  Im very ready for the next stage of my life to begin, and put this allbehind me!!

See you all on the other side tomorrow!!

Ask your surgeon.  He knows best.  I would certainly wait until after the staples are removed which is about two weeks.  Walking always works.

Is your hair curly at all?
If not, have you considered investing in a really good, big barrel (think Taylor Swift-ish / etc) curling iron?
Curls tend to make your hair look fuller, especially big loose curls.
Sorry, wish I could help you with the rogain, but you'll be in surgery before I am :)
From talking to women around on the board (hair issues are a big concern for me as well) I've gotten the impression that when you're body goes into shock (like in rapid weight loss) is when your hair may fall out (kind of stuns your follicles like fainting goats) and once it gets comfortable and gets it's bearings again will resume like normal.
Or start looking up really cute up-do's on the net?
Should only be for a few months, so even just a temperary change of style may be all that's
needed :)

Topic: When should I begin working out?
So I have surgery this friday and was wondering when I can start working out?? I have heard 2 weeks after I can start the gym, but nothing seriously hard. I plan on walking as much as I can as soon as possible.

Topic: Has anyone used Rogain for women?

I am so worried about loosing my hair!!! I know it will be worth it, but my hair is my absolute favorite part about myself :-( Its down to my butt almost and blonde blonde blonde. Its already on the thin-side, so I am worried about when I start losing... its going to look horrible :-(  I thought about not washing it everyday but my hair is so blonde and thin I dont think I could get away with it.

Has anyone used rogain for women and if so did it help at all??

Any tips on how to make it not fall out as fast ...or any products I should try?

Dr. Rutledge has a letter you can send to the insurance company.  Contact his office about that.  Also, you would have to do the packet before you are considered for the MDG.  It is a lengthy process so you need to get started.  You may qualify for same day surgery which is a lot cheaper.  Talk to them about that also.

Honestly, it depends on yuor insurnace... but more than likely it wont cover MGB. You may want ot look into DS or RNY surgery since you have a higher  BMI. You should make an appt with an obesity surgeon first and see what they recommend. Best of luck! Remember, do a TON of research before hand :-)
