I had my surgery 2 years ago this month. I am beginning to think that it was the worst mistake I have ever made. I have abdominal pain daily and have to take pain medication just to function. I have had every test done except for a scope which my doctor is now thinking about doing. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Yes an endoscopy is a good idea.  I'd plan it every year.  Since we are ulcer prone, you may want to get checked for that as well.  I had the same issue about two years out and I took the ulcer med series and it took care of it. Also take a Prevacid every day and see if that gives you some relief.  You can get it over the counter now.  I think you will be ok.  Just get the scope and checked for ulcers.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.
