Hi,

I don't know of many folks losing too much weight with the RNY.  A lot folks struggle maintaining their weight.  I have to say though, with the strict dietary needs you have, you may have better success than some because you have to eat healthy.  The first two years is your best opportunity to lose the most weight.  This is a common statistic across the board for all weight loss surgeries.

It is interesting how our bodies decide when it is time to stop.  It does and not always when we feel it should.  We set goals for ourselves but our bodies pretty much ignores us lol.  I can't predict how your body will react.  This is not an exact science.  So, you will have to watch and see how it goes.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.
