diff between mini and regular bypass

just wondering the diff between the mini and the regular becauce the mini to me looks a lot like the DS procedure to me. I am just not up to speed on it I guess thanks for any help.

Don't get hung up on the word mini.  I guess he should have named it.....simple.  That's about what it is compared to others.  A small pouch is made from the stomach and 6 or more feet of small intestines is bypassed, then the pouch is joined at that point.  http://clos.net has an actual video of the surgery if interested.
