There are other sources as well. www.mgbhelp.com www.clos.net Both sites give detailed explanations of all the WLS choices as well as the mini gastric bypass so that you can make an informed decision.  Research, research and research again.  Ask alot of questions.  Find one that works for you. MGB worked for me.

Hi there! I have a question for you if I could? I was lap-banded 5 years ago, and am considering the MGB. My husband who is WLS free is also considering the MGB. Unfortunately we were just out in Vegas and missed a golden opportunity to go to Dr. Rutledge's office for info directly. We had not been investigating it at this point yet. But I am heading to Florida, not too far from Davenport, and I plan on going to Dr. Peraglie's office for info. I know I won't get to see him personally, but I like to get a feel for a Dr's office and his/her staff. I was just curious how was your experience with Dr. Peraglie? I can get all the info I want on Dr. Rutledge, but not Dr. Peraglie. We are actually closest to Dr. Doroghazi in Bay city, Mi, but there is nothing about him on the clos website. Any insight you could offer would be appreciated. Thank you.....a.

Dr. Peraglie is the sweetest, kindest and most geniune person you will ever meet.  Once you do get to talk with him, you forget he is a doctor.  He is very attentive while you are under his care and always answers his emails and/or phone (unless he is in surgery).  The office staff is very helpful and well above and beyond to assist.  The hospital staff is friendly and informed.  The hospital is small by big-city standards but well-staffed and clean.  You can email me directly at [email protected] if you would like more detailed information.  I'm very happy with my results - 111 lbs down in 10+ months - with no regrets.

I have a question for you. I am trying to decide if I should get the band or if I should do the bypass. Since you have had one and want the other now, Can I ask you why you have decided to change to bypass? Thanks
