I had my ultrasound today and it was awful. I went into the Radialogy office thinking it would be like when I was pregnant. WRONG!!! When I left, I had a bruise on my right side. The X-Ray tech was pressing so hard on my stomach and rib cage, that she bruised me!!! Needless to say, I was not happy. I asked the X-Ray tech was it suppose to hurt. She said "no, but you will feel a little pressure because I am pushing on your stomach." Believe me, it was more than pressure. She kept telling me to hold my breath, but she was pushing so hard on my stomach, I kept letting it go. I was SOOOOOO ready to leave. I just kept thinking, after this I will be one step closer to the losers bench. Wednesday I have my endoscopy. I hope that goes well. After that, I will only have my psych eval and then I submit. Wish me luck.

I have a date and it is.... drum roll please..... next Thursday September 6th!!!! I'm so excited and it's all of a sudden.. The nurse called me today to set up my pre-op appts for next Wednesday and said that I would get my date then.. Then about an hour later she calls me back and she didn't know that Dr. Dolan had already scheduled me to go to the O.R. next Thursday and would that be a problem.. I just had to call Rick & my mom to see if all was well.. We got a ticket for my mom and she'll be here next Tuesday night.. So all is a go... I'm so happy right now.. I've been working on this for over a year! Wish me luck..

It feels like home. It was our first duty station and we keep going back there. Out if the 12 1/2 years in the Corp, at least 8 have been in Jacksonville We have a whole extended family there. One part of me wants to go back there but the other is ready to see something new. And yes the fishing, LOL we have a boat that we go out in the gulf with. DH has it up for sale because it is too small to go in the Atlantic. With a BIG boat payment comes a new truck payment. LOL and he says I am spoiled

My Endoscopy was a breeze. I didn't have any problems at all, the worst part of it is when they sprayed my throat with numbing meds and you cant feel yourself swallow, also they drug ya up thru your IV, so you feel no pain, I watched my doc the entire time he was a cutie lol Don't sweat it hun you will do it with ease.
