Sorry to hear you are going through all that. I know we all need to vent at sometimes. At some point or another, we all go through the angry moments in this process. Just keep your head up. It will get better.

Topic: Hi Everyone, It's been awhile!
Sorry for not posting in awhile, summer was crazy for us. Everything is progressing... slowly... but it is progressing. They are predicting I should be having surgery around the first of December. I still don't have a surgeon yet, but that's how things work around here though. Got to love MTF's. Everyone is saying I shouldn't have surgery right before Christmas. I really don't think it will be a problem though. I never go all out for the holidays. Plus, my husband will be doing the cooking anyways. It's funny though, I check out for a couple months and it seems we have a new group on here. Hi everyone new, I'm happy to see this board moving some.

YEAH!!! I stopped myself in June. Funny thing is I remember the exact date and time of my last cigerette. I didn't get to take Chantix though (military wouldn't pay for it), but I did take wellbutrin and it was great. I'm so proud of you, I know how hard it is.

That is very unprofessional for your Dr. to have done that. I can only imagine how aggrivated you must feel right now!! However, as long as you feel confident with the Dr. you are using to perform WLS on you don't let this stop you . If you don't feel confident maybe you could see about changing your Dr. I am not sure how Tricare works on a matter such as this; but you could call and just ask them what you can do. I am sorry I don't really know what to say to make the situation better. I will say a prayer for you!! Jaye Jaye

I just talked to the Dr's office AGAIN! and was told that I need to make ANOTHER appoinment to see the DR because he did not document what we walked about at our last appoinment. I know that this has to be one of the worse states EVER and sorry I have to live here!! I thought maybe this surgery would be one of the easier things I had to do in this state but I guess that can not even go right! Grrrrrrrrr I am just about to just give up. SorryI needed to vent and I am sure there are several who have been in my poition during this process. The sad part is they say Tricare is one of the easier insurances to get the process done through. I just picked the wrong DR I guess.
