Topic: In Korea and wants to go to Germany!
We got married because we agreed that we would get out of the army after Korea and now he tells me he wants to go to Germany! I really don't know how i feel about this. I want to get a few more degrees and have a career of my own but if we're off in Korea or Germany and he's deployed ... I'm not the best with stress like that .. i really don't think i could handle it. One of the girls who i met on another support forum just lost her husband recently, she was 8 months pregnant at the time. She was amazingly strong in the way she handled it. I'm just not that strong ..i'd probably die right along with him if something like that happened. I knew when i married him that he loves his job and that he had thought about staying in for the 20 so he could retire. I would hate to impose my wants on him by asking him to leave the army if its what he truly wants to do. My career is important to me to a certain point but i wouldn't risk my marriage by pursing it. So, thats not the issue. What I worry about the most, and the main reason i would like him to get out is his safety. I'm terrified that something will happen to him while he's deployed some where. He's already served his country over 8 years and he's been deployed, pretty much everywhere during that time. I just don't see the purpose in putting his life in danger when we're trying to start a family together. UGGHH.. we'll probably end up in Germany after Korea .. i just needed to vent a little.

Im finally having my second appt. with my surgeon on the 16th this is the day they will go over all the paper work and submitt it to tricare for approval and then once it is approved I get a date for the surgery... Im so happy Im finally done with all the test and appointments. The surgeons nurse told me that tricare is real fast on there approvals she said if they submitt it tues the 16th or the 17th we may have an answer by friday and if thats the case if the appointment is still open for the 30th then I could possibly have that date. Im getting real excited... Just thought Id share that with everyone... Tina

I had a wreck on my bike and bit the dust (concrete). I broke my right arm at the elbow, my right femur just above my knee, got 7 stiches in my chin and bleed from left ear and broke 3 teeth. I am a mess. I am reading posts, but, I can't respond for bit. I do hurt. I am totally right handed. I put a couple pictures on my pofile. It hurts worse than it looks. Diana

That sucks ( for a lack of a better word). But like you said ...you will do what you have to do. I just wonder why it wasn't all told to you up front; as to what tests you will be taking. I am sorry Taressa. I have hypothyrodism and I have been diagnosed with it since 94. The thyroid test will be a real simple blood test. I still have to be monitored and my medication uped or lowered if any levels have dropped. The other tests don't sound too bad. I didn't have to have the pulmonary, cardiac tests; but I guess every doctor is different. The good news is they should be easy tests to go through. Maybe you can take two or more in one day. I know they thyroid will be just a matter of drawing blood so that will be just a quick lab trip. Prayers are with you. It will all be worth the aggrivation in the end.(that is what I keep telling myself) Jaye Jaye

I have more test to take!!!!! I spoke to the nurse at the surgeons office. She told me that the reason they have not submitted my paperwork is because I have 3 more test to take. Pulmonary, Cardic, and the thyroid test. I asked her why wasn't I told this sooner. All she could tell me was she didn't know. So now they are scheduling my other appointments. I guess I am kind of mad because I have been thinking I was done and I am about to get my surgery date. That is what I have REALLY been forward too. Oh well. Hopefully all will go well.
