Yeah, it is really great. I know that the waiting for the approval for surgery from Tricare after all the appointments were completed was the worst. I have had so much anxiety over the last two days that my stomach would feel like it literally had knots in it. I am glad that I will be able to get my official date for the surgery. The coordinator said that it will prob. be like two or three weeks. (so I am looking for a date prob. in the early to middle part of November.) I will know a definite date after this coming Tuesday. I am just sooo ready to get the surgery behind me. I know that you feel the same way. Oh boy, does it feel good to know I wasn't denied, and I am on my way. Have you had your surgery yet?

I have been approved and looking like a surgery date of Nov. 29th or 30th. I go for the EGD on Oct. 30th. Any help on what all this entails?

Jaye, My surgeons clinic called me Thursday told today they will fax everything over to Tricare today (Friday)but that she called to let me know that the last two patients that they submited to Tricare went slow submited in Aug and only one was approved so far and she got approval Wed. she said they are taking a couple of months to get the approvals from them I hope mine wont take that long. I was hoping to have my surgery b-4 the holidays, well we will see I will keep you posted. I hope your approval goes quick let me know the progress. Tina
