It is offical that my date is Nov. 29th at 12:00pm. Pre Op appt is Nov. 20th. I go for my EGD the 30th of Oct. It looks like everything is on track and good to go.

I am soooooo excited! My surgery is scheduled for Nov 28th. I go into the hospital on the 27th for an IVF (blood clot filter) and I will spend the night and have my surgery on the 28th. I am happy, nervous, excited, scared....you name it...I feel it.
I can't wait!

Congrats on your loss Nicole! That is wonderful! How long ago did you have surgery?
Isn't it funny about the sizes? I am sure the size you are in is fitting a lot better now and pretty soon you will be swimming in your clothes.

Topic: Liquid diet!!!!
Well... tomorrow is my pre-op assessment and I also start my liquid diet tomorrow. I have so many emotions right now. One minute I am really happy, the next I am really nervous and scared. My dr. says that the only shakes I can have on my liquid diet is slim fast high protein and boost high protein. Does any one have an opinion about the flavors of these and which ones are the best? I have to go here in a littlebit and get some for in the morning and I don't know where to start. Any help would be greatly appreiciated. Layla

For those who have had their cardiac exam, can you tell me what to expect? I will be having mine November 2nd, or earlier if there is a cancellation. I just wanted to get some input and advice from others who have had it. Thanks in advance.
