Topic: Thanks to you all
You all do not know how much I look forward to these post each day. Last night I had a thought that really scared me and made me very emotional. This will be the first "Big" event in my life that my mom or eldest daughter will not be here with me. I have no friends around here and by the time surgery gets here I will have 2 members of my family around and that helps, but it is the Message Board that is really helping me get through this right now. I am having a couple other issues right now and I am not sure I would be able to go through all of this with out all the support and good vibes coming from this board. So THANK YOU ALL!

Hi Layla, I'm not sure which one is better, but I would suggest putting some flavored syrup.. Have you seen the Torani Brand? Just be sure its Sugar Free. I have Vanilla, Hazelnut, Almond Roca and Coconut. Really makes those shakes taste better. I know your nervous and scared. That's all so normal. If you weren't then we would be worried. My secret was I asked my doc for some Valium before I went into surgery. Had to worries from me. I was HAPPY! Good Luck Erin

Topic: RE: question ...Do I need to call Tricare and tell them I have a surgery date
No I did not have to contact tricare to tell them my surgery date. Tricare actually told me when the doctor had scheduled me for surgery.

I was just looking over some of the paperwork I received yesterday. One thing that it notes is that you might need to contact your insurance and tell them your surgery date. My question is for you guys that have already had the surgery. Did you have to contact Tricare prior to your surgery? I was just curious. Thanks so much, Jaye Jaye

TaReesa we got a spot saved for you on the "looser's bench" right along with the rest of us. It is so great that so many of us are having the surgery close together. I bet you will have yours before Christmas break (at least). Maybe we can all keep this board going now. I'd just like to thank everyone for their help, and continued help. It means so much to have a place to go for guidance. ((hugs)) to you all Jaye Jaye
