I remember that feeling well....it was just a few weeks ago. Some approval's are quicker than others. Mine took about 36 hours. I know it is easier said than done. Just keep busy, and try not to think of it All the time. Of coarse, this advice didn't work for me. I will keep you in my prayers for a quick approval. It will all be fine and work out..just have faith. Good Luck to you, Jaye Jaye

That is what the Tricare website says.....So here I sit waiting. Everytime I now open the website to check, I get a twinge of fear that I will see DENIED. I hope I am approved and soon.

Topic: Tricare and Plastic (Reconstructive Surgery)
Hi Everyone - I have a question regarding Tricare and plastic (Reconstructive Surgery). I wanted to know if anyone on this board been approved for reconstructive/plastic surgery after weight loss. I am having the lapband done (not by Tricare - they won't cover it yet, got insurance through my employer) and I think that I will want to have a tummy tuck. Also, my daughter wants to have a breast reduction and I am not sure if the age limt is 18 or 21 for this. I wanted to know what they look for to approve either surgery. My thought is that Tricare Prime will cover it at 100% if I find out the correct things to document prior to submission for a request of the surgery I live in California if this helps with the answers. Thanks

Topic: RE: question ...Do I need to call Tricare and tell them I have a surgery date
Tricare didn't tell me about my surgery date. I set it up with the Dr. after I had finished everything and was approved. I did call Tricare..just to make sure. You were absolutely right. They said as long as I had my approval (which I did). Everything was good to go. I am so excited that I finished preregistering at the hospital, and I met with the anithisiologist yesterday.(wow, that took an hour and a half). Everything is done. I am now just anxiously waiting for Thursday morning. Thanks so much for your help. Please think of me and keep me in your prayers. Jaye Jaye

Topic: My arm report
I am sorry, I just cannot keep typing to respond to everyone. I have not been able to be online for a bit because I am really having pain from my broken arm. My knee is better and my face is starting to look better. It still hurts some. My ear is aching and my jaw is still sore, but it is my arm that is the worst. I found out that I am completely right handed. I am also very pushed with my work. I am working on several very large homes right now and they all want the prints ready now. So, by the time I work most of the day on my computer, my arm just hurts. I will be around and checking on things, but forgive me If I can't post. Oh and be careful on bikes. Diana
