Sorry, but I need to vent. You are not going to believe this.
I called Tricare, this morning, to check if they had gotten my paperwork. WOW, it said "submitted June 4th a referral for an EDG Outpatient "Approved"
I got so excited, then I thought to myself that doesn't sound right. 
So I called Dr. Lords office and left a message,
as usual, no return. So this afternoon a call again, get a girl I have never talked to, and she tell me that it is wrong. 
She doesn't know why that got submitted because I don't need that and also MY PAPERWORK is still on Dr. Lords desk 
waiting to be signed off on to go to Tricare YES I said it has not left the office. It has been over 2 whole weeks. There is no reason for this, and to send in the wrong request. I am so mad I am just fuming.

Hi There! 
I am not a military wife, but am actually military myself! I am in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. I am also prior Air Force. I have been in for 4.5 years. I lost a bunch of weight before I came in by working third shift and taking stacker 2's and only eating once a day. Yeah I know, healthy!!!
Anyway over the past 4 years, actually more like 3 because I did keep the weight off for a bit, I gained back the 65 pounds I lost and about 20 more. I have finally decided to etak back my life. I have done all the yo-yo dieting and everything else.
I have spoken to a few key individuals in my command and they say they will do whatever it takes to make sure I can remain in the Guard after my surgery. They all know how good of a soldier I am outside of the weight issue. Of course having the extra weight I cannot pass my PT test. My command has been very lenient with me up to this point and they are actually very glad to see that I am finally doing something about this.
Anyway I have approval from my insurance company and am now just waiting for my date from the surgeons office. I have many goals after this surgery and if you check ot my profile you will see a few of them are military related.
Anyway that's part of my story! I would also like to see this board take off. If you don't mind I am going to throw the link to it in my signature.

Go to your Drs. office and make the receptionist find all your paperwork while you wait and send it yourself if you can...get them to fax it first then mail it in...I dunno...All I know is I HATE Tricare.Good Luck

since May 21st. As of 11am today (6/4) Tricare still does not have my paperwork. I sent an email to my surgeon's office, a week ago, no answer. I called last Wednesday 
they said it would be in no later than Friday. I called today, left a message, no return. I am so frustrated. I don't know what else I can do. Am I rushing it? Should I just sit back and let what's to happen just happen. I just don't know.

**Multivitamins, I get childrens chewables at the naval hospital. Doc said to take one in the morning and one at night. **B-12, you should be able to get a shot monthly on base, but I don't like shots 
I have to take iron & zinc also and I can get them on base. **Calcium, I was not able to get .
