((((HUGS))))) That really SUCKS!! I'm so sorry. I'm currently in the waiting game as well. My surgeon's office just faxed off my paperwork this morning. I'm hoping it will be just as fast as Erica's (24 hrs) whether it is an approval or denial, I just want to know!! I know this is hard. I had to wait over 3 weeks for my psych doc to turn in my pysch eval before they could submit today. I realize she is busy but !!! So now I wait on Tricare. Good luck!! Andi

I always make myself know. Even when they really wish I would go away. It's so funny cause I just got voted in as our FRG vice pres. I didn't even know I was in the running really. It's cool though. I love getting involved. I just didn't think that many people remembered me. I tend to think of myself as invisible sometimes. Anyways, by the time I'm done I truly expect everyone there to know me by my first name.

I just got a phone call today. Yes, there is a wls group at the navy hospital here. But the surgery would be an hour away down in Tacoma at the Army hospital. Well... the phone call... I have an appointment with a nurse case manager that helps me through the process. She makes all my appointments, so I don't have to call the main appointment line. Oh, my appointment is on the 12th. I did find out that I have to do a food log, exercise program, and see the nut. As for exercise the only thing my doc has cleared me for is swimming. Woo Hoo. The Nurse also said these classes could take up to a year, it depends upon when you take them... She don't know me very well, but she will.
