Sorry I can't help you with the dr. I am in Idaho. But welcome to the board. My husband has spent a lot of time at Ft Benning. That was a long time ago. I have my first appt with my surgeon in 2 weeks. I am excited and nervous. We'll get through together. Keep looking I finally found someone who has had surgery with my dr. He is the only local dr that accepts Tricare. His credentials are impressive. He has done a lot of rny's. He has a great staff. I hope you can find someone. You may meet someone at the group consult. It is really nice to have confidence in your surgeon. In case anyone want's to know I am usually up at this time. I am a night owl. Diana

Hi! I am hoping to have the surgery soon and was wondering if anyone else out there is going though this too. I have my first group consult on Aug 2 with Dr. Steinberg in Decatur, GA. I want to go sooner but this was the first available they had. So I'm just looking for more info and maybe someone who has been seen by him and what all you have to go through.
