So I have one of those vacuum seal thingies. I haven't used it in a while, but now I use it a lot. I'm tired of having the same food all week long to get rid of leftovers and to not waste $ or food. I just take my left overs or doggie bag from the restraunt and put it in the fridge (to make the liquids, juices solid). I then take out about an ounce or two and seal it in individual packets. These then go in the freezer, so when I am in the mood for roast, it is already seasoned and cooked. Then you just boil water and put the sealed packet in there. It warms it back up with out drying out. Then you just open it and eat! You can microwave too, but I prefer boiling water. Let me know what you do to keep meals different and flavorful. ::hugs:: Cyndi

Good Afternoon! I mailed my blocks to Quiltin Wilson I think about a week and a half ago. My block is called The Anvil...It went together pretty easy. I love to quilt! I started a quilt for our bed but now the weather is getting nice so I like to be outside so it might take me awhile. I had lap gastric bypass on February 20, 2006 and I am doing very well! I haven't had any trouble at all. I've lost 45 pounds so far!!!! I've dropped below 200 pounds and that feels wonderful!!!! Its been many years since I've been below that. I haven't found any food that I can't tolerate which is nice...I just eat my itty bitty portion. I love not feeling hungry!!!!

It just depends on the culture that you are refecting in your magic. The celts had Beltane to be the two sacred fires of Belenos. They would jump over them for fertility and they would drive there cattle between them to cleanse them of disease. Unlike what many would portray Beltane as being a very sexual holiday the celts actual used this day as a day to celebrate the birth of animals and the birth of new children into the clan. ALso this is the day for rebirth of new lives. Many Handfasting are done on Beltane. ALso on Beltane is it traditional to cleanse your ritual space as it is the beginning of the dark year.
