I hope you all are having fun and enjoying this unique opportunity, I was stationed in Giessen, West Germany in the mid 80's and enjoyed it immensely. I was Army then and am now approaching retirement in the US Coast Guard here in WA state. Do they still have the schnitzel stands that are open until 9pm? I used to love getting the curry-wurst. Tony
