Question for after surgery
Unfortunately there is not much that can be done for the skin. Whether or not you have skin issues depends on many factors. Exercising can build muscle which can fill in the skin a little but for the most part, really the only thing that will help with the sagging skin is reconstructive surgery. While it is sometimes difficult to get approval, according to the policy Tricare does cover a panniculectomy if deemed medically necessary. If you start having skin issues (rashes, infections, etc) do not self treat. Go to your PCP or a dermatologist and start documenting the problems. You will need this documentation for Tricare Approval of plastics.
