Well I had my 2 week check up today. Well it has not really been 2 weeks. It has been 11 days. I have lost a total of 17 pounds. I lost 6 pounds before the surgery and then I lost 11 since 11/30. That is about a pound a day since surgery. I got my staples out today. I was so glad about that. They were itching so bad. So I guess I am doing well. It is so nice to finally be losing weight. I go back January 7th. So we will see how much I have lost since then. I wonder if this is normal for the 2 week follow up. How much did you guys loose at your 2 week appointment?

By 2 weeks out I was down 14 lbs, so a pound a day was what I lost too! Congratulations on the surgery! I don't think I have congratulated you yet. We've been in the middle of a move (PCS from Oregon to NC) lately, so Welcome to the losing side of life!!! Andi

I live in NC. We are stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB in Goldsboro. We use to be stationed at Pope in Fayetteville. I kind of miss it. There is nothing in Goldsboro. Thanks for the comment. I am so happy to have the surgery behind me. I am looking forward to the future.

Sounds like you are doing really well. I think I lost about 5 lbs. I don't remember that well. I am a slow loser, but I keep losing. I have never lost a lb a day. At best I lose 2 and once in a while 2.5 lbs a week. As long as I'm losing, I'm fine with that. I have lost over 7 inches off my hips alone and that thrills me. Be sure you measure yourself from your neck to your calves or ankles. It will amaze you how many inches you lose. Diana
