I am sick of Boost!!!!

Hey guys. I am so sick of drinking Boost. This 2 weeks seems like the longest 2 weeks ever. Do any of you have any ideas of something else I can have? I would love a sandwich, but we know that is not possible----yet.

I thought that boost had too much sugar? Try the chocolate Myoplex Lite. They sell it at walmart. The also have vanilla. 20 grams of protein in 12ozs and like 1-2 grams of sugar. It is a ready to drink, and what I have done is put it in the blender with some ice and let it go for a while, and made somewhat of a shake type thing.

At this point I could eat a full liquid diet. I got desparate and ate some cottage cheese before week 3. My Dr told me I could. He said a few days early was fine. Something to chew on and that is not sweet can really help. Can you have puddings or yogurt? At least it is a different texture. I also ate some pureed vegetable soup. That helped a lot. I would love a sandwich also, but I imagine it getting all gummed up in my pouch and being sick for days. then the craving goes away. Real food will taste very good when you can have it. Diana

I do the Adkins Protein Shakes.. I've only had the Chocolate & Vanilla, both are very yummy.. I get mine from Walmart.. They are Ready to Drink, so a little more expensive, but they are they only one's that I've been able to drink at all..
