It has been a while since I posted here but havn't had much news till now. After what felt like forever I finally got a date with my surgeon. I know I know everyone thought I got a date for surgery but no I got my first date to meet my surgeon. Ive gone through all the pre test... phyc, nutri, excer, ekg, eco and stress, had already had the sleep apnea and I got all my blood work done. I have had all of these test in like a month and a half so I have been very busy! All of this before I could even meet my surgeon. But hey now I am finally doing a happy I will have my surgery date soon after that so I will update more then. Finally I get to up and down with excitment.

You have been busy. Your surgery will be soon. I understand the excitement. I get excited all the time now. When I lose another pound or 2 or my tight clothes fall off of me and I have very little to wear. It is a fun journey and you are well on your way. I'll be waiting to hear when your surgery is. Diana

Yes there is one thing about this surgery. If you have anything serious wrong with you, you will know prior to this surgery. I hope everything is going well for you. I have read alot of your post and prayed for you when you got into the wreck. You look great!! Thanks for your comment back and God Bless.

You are right about the finding anything wrong. I had the surgery because I have things wrong. I feel pretty good right now, except for joint pain. I really apprecialte the prayers, and believe me I felt them. It was a very hard time. My arm and jaw still hurt. They said it would take months to get over it. I can't express enough how much the support from OH has helped me. I hope you feel that same love and support. I am waiting to hear how TaReesa is doing. I am so excited that she finally made it to surgery. I wish I had mine done years ago. I would be in a lot better shape now. We are so lucky to have this help. This is the first time in 40 years that I feel hope of success. I know 2 people quite well that are 7-15 years out and have maintained their ideal weight. Very encouraging. I know another gal that is about 6 years out and is still heavy, but not like before at all. I will be anxious to hear when your surgery will be. Diana
