Chantix

For all those who use the military facilities to get your RX filled, I was at the Navy Hospital here in Great Lakes getting scripts written out for lab work and other stuff, and I inquired with the dr. if the pharmacy carried Chantix. Guess what it they do!!! So, to help me stop smoking I now have a RX for Chantix. So, I would check again with Tricare to see if it is covered now, if you are using civilian pharmacy.

for chantix did you have to do any classes, like a stop smoking sensation class? or did the dr just give you the refferal? because i do know to get the nictoin patches here you have to do that class, and its like 2 a week for an hour for 4 weeks, and i dont really want to do that. -jen

Nope, just an Rx that I picked up at the hospital pharmacy.
