Where has everyone gone?
LOL I am sorry you are in hell. How long are you guys gonna be stationed in Maryland? Oh man, I can't wait to actually have this operation over with. First, I am stuck in the hell of wait. I am just waiting on a"yah" or "nah". I just feel so sick and nervous.
I wish everyone would post more. I know there has to be a lot of military spouses out there. It is nice to have a forum to talk with other people not only about the same insurance problems, etc.; but knowing people understand ALL that you are feeling because they have gone through it or are going through it.
Well I have that song in my mind. "If you are going through hell keep on moving. You might get out before the devil even knows your there." Just remember to keep moving
((hugs))

I too was wondering where everyone has gone. My surgeon's office called this past Monday to let me know that they are working on my paperwork, and that Tricare only asked for the authorization form, psyc eval, and letter of medical necessity. She said that they would call me when they faxed the paperwork. I was told by Tricare that I could have approval/denial within 48 hours.
The day prior to my consult I went to the Navy hospital and got my eval done....I am so glad I did that, it sped up the process a little bit. So now all I need is the letter of medical necessity.
So here I sit and wait.
Hey Wendi,
seems like quite a few of us are playing the wait game. I am glad to hear all is coming along for you.
I wish this board would start back up. I don't want to loose it. I think it is a great place to get questions answered and everything.
Keep posting
I hope everyone will start up again

Well, I've been busy trying get my work some work done while recuperationg form my wreck. My knee is much better, but my broken arm still hurts and my jaw is not ready to open yet. I tend to sleep a lot. They say I need the rest so my bones will heal.
I have a new favorite food. I mix FF cottage cheese half and half with my homeade double milk yogurt and add fruit and a little nutrasweet. Yumm, tastes like cheese cake. No fat and good protein. Diana
Hey Diana,
I understand why you haven't been online. Man, your accidenct makes me rethink ever getting on a bike again.
That sounds like a great new food to have. I have a question for you. How in the world do you make homemade double milk yogurt? (use layman's terms I am not very proficient in the kitchen at all.)
I hope this board starts up again. It sure died down rather quickly.
