Im so confused

I spoke with my surgeons office today I after all this time i was under the impression that with tricare i wouldn't need the six months of diet history well i was wrong so i am back at the being with this am i am getting frustated.

What!!! Im going to be seeing Dr.Greene too. I emailed them yesterday and they said no that he doesn't want a 6 mth history. Damn now I'm confused too.

Well, all I can tell you is I did NOT have 6 months diet history or 6 months monitored weight loss. They approved me. Is it Tricare or the doctor requiring it? I think I would start asking questions. I wouldn't think they would require it for one and not another. That is just my take on it. Sorry if that doesn't help. Let me know how it goes.

I was just approved (denied and appealed) and I did not have to have a 6 month diet. I just submitted a letter along with the request from my surgeon stating the diets I have tried in the past and that none of them worked for me. That is the closet thing they got from me, and they didnt' even ask for that. Is it something that maybe your surgeon is requiring and not tricare?
