I am having surgery w/ Dr Q on 5/30/16. I'm just finishing up my first week of the pre op diet and it isn't as hard as I thought it would be. The coordinator suggested putting some taco seasoning in my cottage cheese & I love it..
I had surgery with Dr Quinoes on the 9th of this month. I know a few people that have went with him as well I have never heard anything bad about him. He treated me with such care it was unbelievable I think I had better care then I have ever had in the states. His coordinator was always willing to take my calls at any time of the day or nite. If she was busy she would call me right back. I as well have in house financing and was so easy to apply for.
I hope this can give you as little in sight and good luck on your dissension.
Just follow you pre op to a T. You will be just fine the first day are hard due to head hunger but it will go away before you know it. Hope that everything works for you I had a really good experience with my doctor and had surgery in Mexico In Pompeii surgical.
Doctor Quinones was a great guy and very helpful to all my questions. He treated me like fam and the nurses were always their to see if I needed anything.
I had surgery in Mexico with Dr. Fernando Garcia back in October 2014, so I have been trolling the boards for a couple of years now. I have heard many good things about Dr. Q and can't recall anything negative. Whomever you choose, good luck to you.
Hi! I'm new here.. I am looking into having surgery in Mexico as my insurance will not help here in the states. Has anyone used or heard good or bad things about Dr Q? A friend of mine had WLS done by Dr Joya, but I cannot acquire a loan- Dr Q has in house financing. I'm just wanting to get some insight! Thank you!
Hi everyone hope you have missed and wonder how I'm doing. Well I'm 10 days post up and feeling a lot better from the first few days. I just wanted to stop in and say Hi to you all and let you know that my surgery was a successful surgery had no complications and did just fine.
The funny thing is that right after surgery I was fine but after the second is when I started to feel a little sore. The pain was not so severe that I needed meds but it was uncomfortable.
The pain has gone away still a little gas here and there but nothing I can not handle.
I am on the other hand having a little trouble getting down all the fluids that I need.
So I called my coordinator and she had recomended for me to suck on ice and I was surprised I think that is helping a lot more. I can't stand the taste of the protein drinks since I had surgery so that kinda suck as well. But all in all I feel good and Dr.Quinones did a great job on me. I could have not asked for more.
