I'd like to get surgery in Mexico, but am concerned about coming back to the USA and not finding anyone to help me if I have a complication. Did anyone experience this?

I found researching Drs in Mexico really hard. I don't know much about either one of them. Have you looked at the Duodenal Switch? Is more effective for high BMI's.

Follow up - I went with United, all end seats. I'll get there nice and early for each flight so that I can ask for an extender early on.
Flights are booked and surgery is scheduled!
Who would you choose and why.
I'm 385 looking to get vsg. Can't find any negative on illan, and anything bad on Ortiz is small. Plus Ortiz is the only one I can find who is actually certified.
Anyone have thoughs?
