I had a bad Mexico experience but was able to get care back in states, someone who had surgery at same time hasn't been able to get any care back in states so it seems highly dependent on location etc.

I had my surgery with dr Garcia in 2015 and had an awful experience, if I'd known than what I know now I would've gone elsewhere.

I had surgery with Dr. Hidalgo in February. He is an excellent Dr. U won't b sorry going with him. I started off at 236 pounds , it's 7 months today and I am now 153. Down 83 pounds.i had no pain or complations. Best thing I ever did. I would highly recommend him!!

Mexcali Baratriac.  I actually did not use the card itself I paid cash and then, got reimbursed from my FSA account as soon as i got back.  They tend to add 3% to card usage in Mexico, so I just did it a different way.  But used the FSA account.  I got the switch

I would think not, since FSA cards are part of the US health system and would likely not work in MX

That is a hard one.  Have you talked to you Primary Care Doctor?    I found a Primary Care Doctor who knew about weight loss surgery, but it took a little hunting.  I posted on the boards and FB groups and really did not have much luck, but then, I went to some of the local Baritaic groups and talked to people at the groups and found a local doctor.  Good luck.
