Oh, jessica that was an awesome accounting, m'dear!
Thoughtful, concise...Lol...my gosh lady, you even taught us how to cry out in Spanish should we find ourselves in pain after surgery!
(I think you might have missed your calling not becoming a foreign journalist, jessica -
Many, many thx!) :D

Topic: Request for US disability surgery in Mexico

Has anyone encountered problems filing for short term disability in th US and had the revision weight loss surgery in Mexicali? Any problems? I was going to submit from the day I fly to Mexicali through the next 4-5 weeks. Any input is appreciated.

Topic: Cash or Wire Transfer

My band to sleeve revision surgery is scheduled with Mexicali Bariatrics on 9/13/17. My question is HOW did you PAY??? Did you carry the balance in CASH or did you WIRE TRANSFER it? That's a lot of cash to be carrying but you get another charge when you get a transfer. Please supply me of what you did when you paid in Mexico??

Thank you for this thread! I have scheduled my WLS with Bariatic Mexico and find great comfort in the detailed description of your experience.

Congratulations on your weight loss success. My husband is looking into lap band removal. We originally went to Mexicali, but wanted to go a little closer. Could you let me know your doctors name in TJ, Mexico and the hospital. I would love to check into it. Thanks so much for any help!

Can you please let us know what surgery center in Mexico you used? I am researching Mexico bariatric centers and am looking for good experiences.

Thanks!

Topic: Nerves, nerves, everywhere!

You guys. I finally scheduled my surgery for VSG for February 2018! I'm so excited! But of course, due to the location (mexico bariatrics) my sister and mom are furious! I shouldn't have told them, but figured out of respect for them and of course it being surgery, I would tell them. Not only that, but I also figured they'd listen to me and let them explain the extensive research I have done on the facilty! My surgery is with Dr. Valenzuela, and the coordinator has been phenomenal!

Someone calm my nerves, maybe? What is everyones experience? I have PCOS, so I'm doing this for a few reasons. One, to get rid of my PCOS (hopefully) and two, to learn to love myself again. Not that I need to explain myself to ANYONE besides me, but it's nice to have some insight.

Dr. Rodriguez and Dr. Elmo both perform the surgery together.
