Basically they approved me to have my pouch fixed and possibly take more intestine out. They ended up leaving my lower alone because it looked so good and just corrected my pouch. I'm glad they left the lower alone because it has been much easier than my first time. I'm able to eat more variety than last time. Weight loss is slower but it's also been 18 years since my first surgery. No reflux though. Not one time!

Hi Maithuna,

I was looking for the same information. I found a little info that is making me turn away from him. Not him but the nurses he leaves to care for you. They tell you after surgery the pain is in your head. Not cool.

Congrats to original poster. What an amazing thing you've done for yourself.

I am booked with Dr Alvarez for 6 November! I'm excited too, and nervous, and excited...! LOL

I'm trying to stay focused by eating sensibly before starting my pre-op diet....

It is a great option! I had my surgery a long time ago through Ponce Bariatrics a while ago, and the before/after care was exceptional. The team was very caring for my needs and explained the whole process.

If you need more information contact me.

Cash is a good option for payment, have it with yourself for the traveling and as soon as you are admitted to the hospital and see your doctor, the payment can be made.

No problem, the Doctor fills out the assigned paper work and can even write out a letter stating your stay and medical recommendations.

Have a great day!
