Thanks. I have actually switched to a different company since my post.  I'm still getting the sleeve in September, but I'm going to be going to Tijuana instead.

I went with a different company as well but I can tell you that it has been a blessing for me.  My results have been great.  I went with LongTerm VSG and with their $2999 price it is hard to beat.  I am less than 3 months post op and have lost 46.8lbs.

I know that doesn't help you much with your research but I can tell you that this surgery has been a wonderful life-changing event for me.

Good Luck!!

I have not had an issue with followup care.  My surgeon, Dr. Jorge Maytorena, with LongTerm VSG provided me a dvd of my surgery.  I let my primary care doc see it and all things are good.

There are a lot of people who have used them.  If you want to message me I can send you an invite to a group I am in on Facebook.....all LongTerm VSG people getting sleeved or have been sleeved with LongTerm.  You can also check out their facebook page.....https://www.facebook.com/longtermvsg?fref=ts.  There are many people on there.

Hello all, my surgery is scheduled next Tuesday with Dr Fernando Garcia at Tijuana Bariatrics. I was just wondering if any of you have had issues with your PCP not wanting to see you due to going out of state for the surgery? OR if you've had complications and have been refused treatment due to having the surgery out of the state's? One of my cousins who is a Dr in Florida said she had a patient who was refused by almost every Bariatric Dr she sought out when she experienced complications. Have you guys experienced this? Now I'm worried.

I did talk to Ruben, and he was really informative, but that still makes me nervous. I understand that paypal charges fees as well, but wiring money is always concerning especially when so little information is available when googling this agency. I want to make a change in my life, but I have to be entirely sure it is safe, secure. Do you know anyone else that has had the procedure done?

How did the wire transfer work?

They do the wire transfer because paypal charges fees and for the price they charge, they have to watch expenses I'm sure.

Take a moment to talk to Ruben.  He'll ease your fears.  They're great and sincere.
