OK... I don't want to sound ignorant, but I need to know for sure what sublingual means. Does it mean dissolvable? The pain meds I can get are going to be sublingual, so I'm assuming it means either that, or easily absorbed? Help me out!!! Traci

sublingual means to place under your tongue. and it wasnt an ignorant question. They get into your blood stream very very fast that way. Jan

Thank you, Jan. I felt kind of silly asking. After all, I could have looked it up. But I like communicating with others who have been through this much better. Traci
