Joya or Rumbaut?

So, who is better for Lapband?

I do not know Dr. Joya, but I do know Dr. Rumbaut. He has been doing lap bands for years, even has one himself. I highly recommend him. My care was excellent in every way (had lap rny). Bonnie lap rny 6/3/05 264/163/149

Kimberly: You have to go with your gut feeling as to who you feel better about. Make sure you look at both docs and talk to the staff or the doc himself!! I looked at several docs in Mexico and something just kept me coming back to Dr. Joya, so I went with my gut feeling and it was the best decision I have ever made. I had the lab rny, not the band. But you just have to go with how makes you feel more comfortable with. Do your research and go with it!!! Good luck. Jen 275/183/150?

Kimberly, I had the lap band with Dr. Joya on March 17th. Everything went great and I never have doubted my decision. I am sure both doctors would be great. -Michelle
