Okay when Gerald says we'll need a passport in the near future. What does that mean? Should I apply for one now? I plan on going between June and September.

I know that you won't need a passport to go to Mexico until 1/1/07, but it is a good idea. If you don't get a passport you need to take your original birth certificate (with raised seal on it) and photo id. If you are like me you can't offically confirm you have been hatched so you can't find your original birth certificate. For the cost, the passport is good ofr 10 years! Just a thought! Christina

Thank you so much everyone for your replies. I found out yesterday that you don't need a passport until like December is what I was told. If you go you need to take your birth certificate, driver's license, and marriage license if your last name has changed. The post office told me all of this.
