Well, I am now 2 days away from departure and 3 days until surgery. I am still nervous a little but for the most part I have found peace. Every time I question my decision, I hear of another medication related horror story! I have an Aunt that was relatively healthy for most of her life. But then she was diagnosed with diabetes and her doctor put her on an glucose control pill....well now her kidneys are bad and she is on dialysis! She told my mom that she is tired of being sick and she may just end it all! :o( I know there are various risks with any surgery you may have but I think the benefit out weighs the risk. Anyway, please keep me, Jeff and Jewel in your prayers! Thank you again for everyones support!!!

Jeanine, It is so easy to get jitters before you leave. I had been so calm weeks before and then the night before I left, I couldn't sleep a wink! But you've made such a positive decision to redirect your life so that you can live a healthy and happy life. Focus on that I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Melissa

Thanks Jeanine..... I really appreciate you!!! I haven't started to get nervous yet. I have everthing in place and I guess I feel like this: If God doesn't want me to do this....he'll put a stumbling block there. I haven't had one stumbling block since the day I applied for the loan to do this. I'm just so grateful to God that he has given me this opportunity and made a clear and bump free way for me to get this done!! I'm sure you will be fine!. By the way you were right about that T-mobile thing....1.49. The lady I talked to was thinking I was asking about calling from here to there not the other way around! I did get the access put on my phone incase of emergency but my first stop will be at the calling card station when I get to PV. I've given my friends each a calling card and the numbers to check on me.......so..... OK so here's our last minute checklist: Passport Joya payment tea pot for heating broth water broth (cubes) Lock for suitcase FLUFFY SLIPPERS GOOD BOOK FOR POST OP A PRAYER BEFORE WE DEPART!!! NOW WE HAVE EVERYTHING WE NEED FOR A GREAT TRIP TO LOOSING SIDE!!!!!!!!!! SEE YOU THERE
