Can anyone here recommend where to go for a loan so that I can have WLS? Could you share your loan "experience"? Thanks.

Hi Jamie! I had looked into financing theough those medical finance companies, their interest rates were around 25%. There was no way I could do that. We ended up refinancing the house for various reasons like home improvements with a little cash back. I also got a personal loan from citifinancial for the additional 6k I needed. Their interest rate was 17%, still high, but a little better. I figured out from my 2005 taxes that we spent over 6k on my healthcare in 2005, not including surgery, that was just co-pays and meds, etc. $20 for each MD visit and $50 for each med really add up! Good luck! Bonnie lap rny 6/3/05 264/164/149

I also need a loan for it. I know Capital One does loans but I don't know how good they are though. The website is www.capitalonehealthcarefinance.com Hopefully that is helpful! Let me know!
