Got my tickets!

I ordered my plane tickets to San Diego today... the dent in the checkbook certainly makes things feel more real! I have decided to leave my children with my mother (who still doesn't know I'm doing this!). I've also opted to come home before the tube and stitches are out. I'm probably nuts, but I'm sure I can't stay away from my children and my home that long! I'll have my GP take them out at home. Traci

Get Bambi's telephone number. Have his cell phone number with you just in case. He is very reliable at picking people up at the airport. My flight was delayed. I was switched to another plane which put me about 4 hours late. I had to call Dr. A.'s office to tell them. No one who answered the phone spoke english. All I could do was hope the words AIRPLANE BAMBI LATE could be understood. Bambi, being very smart, realized when I didn't come off the plane when scheduled... decided to wait and see if I came on another flight. I was EXTREMELY lucky I was the LAST person he was picking up that day, and I was the only one going on his schedule for the rest of that day.

I think it's 10,200... don't have the info in front of me at the moment. I'm staying at a hotel in Ensenada where my doc gets a discount for his patients... that's $85 a night. I was going to take my kids, but I've pretty much decided that this trip needs to be about me for once. Hope this helps. Traci
