My first day of liquids

Oh my Gosh, I feel soooo sluggish. What can I do... I'm not sure I can last 2 weeks on broth. Is there anything at all I can chew? Please help you guys 4-10-06 seems light years away from TODAY!!

You should be on full liquids pre-op. That means milks, protein shakes, etc. Full liquids meand the type of liquid, not "all" liquids! It includes cottage cheese and pudding. CLEAR liquids refers to any liquid you can see through. You will be on this one after surgery, not before. Broth has no calories! You will be full on a full liquid diet. you can have cottage cheese, milks, protein shakes and sugar free pudding! Good luck Bonnie lap rny 6/3/05 264/164/149

You don't have to eat only broth for 2 weeks! You can have low fat yogurt, sf puddings, protein shakes, etc. We bought a hand blender and blended up soup, all kinds. Don't limit yourself too much or you'll get tired of the diet real soon, lol. Bridget

And add liquid vitamins - they are available. Those vits make a big difference to me. -Pam
