IN MONTERREY NEXT WEEK!

Well a week from today I am flying out to monterrey and having lap RNY surgery April 5th with Dr. Rumbaut.. Anyone else going to be there? If so I would like to meet with you, and support each other.. Connie

Not going, but sending you well wishes. Take some baby wipes! They come in handy, among other things, for cleaning hands, stitches, and sanitizing medicine bottles and such.

Actually, you can post when you get to Monterrey. The Hampton Inn has a 'business center' off of the lobby with 3 computers with internet access you can log on and surf the web when you get bored. Just a tip, if the pc asks for an access number, use the phone there to call the front desk, and they will give it to you. That was another great perk of the Hampton Inn! Bridget

In the day or so before my surgery, and the couple of days after, hanging around the pool and talking to the other women that were there, it is how I met some others going through the same thing I went through at the same time. I also met another lady on this board, who I then met in Monterrey. She is also doing well. -Pam

good luck connie! i wish you all the best. i remember being where you are only a couple of weeks ago and anxiously waiting to be on the "other side". as one of my doctors told me, your attitude can make or break your healing process. so stay positive and relish the thought that you are doing something wonderful for yourself AND your loved ones!
