Dr. Ortiz Langardere Patients

Any feedback on this doctor? Or has anyone whose done this awhile heard anything about this doctor?

Hi Falice, I was banded by Dr.Ortiz on March 10th. I was treated like queen while in TJ and flew all the way from Tampa, FL to recieve his world class care. I have done a lot of research on doctors, and Dr.Ortiz was a name that came up repeatedly as one of the best. He actually trained a good deal of surgeons here in the states. The doctor I was going to go to here in Florida before I got denied by my insurance was actually trained by Dr.Ortiz He has written a few books on the lapband as well. I wouldn't of wanted to go to anybody else. There are four tiny incisions on me and it only took him 30 min for the procedure. It was painless. I actually got a special discount price for booking my surgery date in March. It was 8,500 instead of 9,500. It would of cost me over 17,000 here in Florida. Everybody involved at his surgery center is nice. His mom actually greets you and drives you to the surgery center and to get your bloodwork done. You stay in a superb hotel and there are people there who speak english in case you need help with the translating. I was concerned about after care with fills here in the states but he actually has a web site called FillCenterUSA.com where you can find doctors that will take you here. The site was originated by Dr.Ortiz as well as two other doctors that he trained. I would say that Dr.Ortiz is one of the founding fathers of the lapband, plus he is very charismatic and attractive which didnt' hurt either! lol...If you have any more questions feel free to email me.
