Abybody had WLS in Cali, Colombia??

Hi everyone, I was trying to get WLS covered by my insurance (i have BCBS PPO) but it seems too complicated since my BMI is of 38 and i have no comorbidities (i hope i wrote that right) only joint pain and high triglycerides and if that's not bad enough, my PCP is not supportive of this surgery, therefore i had to look for a better choice because it doesn't seem like i will be aprooved anytime soon. So being Colombian, i decided to research the cost of WLS in my home country (my country is known for low cost, great doctors, high quality surgery) and it turns out is US$8.100 and this includes everything, which is amazing compared to the US$20.000 to US$30.000 that it costs here. Well I have allready talked several times with who is going to be my surgeon and i'm traveling in may to get it done. Has anyone had WLS inColombia? if so how was your experience? Carol.
